The 114th Skål Australia National Assembly officially begins with a Welcome Cocktail Party at the iconic Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG), located on Hobart’s historic waterfront. Surrounded by heritage sandstone buildings and contemporary exhibition spaces, TMAG provides a uniquely Tasmanian setting to welcome delegates from across Australia.
Guests will enjoy a roaming cocktail-style menu by Sabre catering showcasing premium Tasmanian produce, alongside local wines, beers, and spirits.
Dress Code: Cocktail attire.
Food & Beverage: A three hour cocktail-style canapés and substantial roaming dishes with Tasmanian wine, beer, and beverages included.

Assembly Gala Dinner

Frogmore Creek Cellar Door
Set amongst the vines overlooking the Coal River Valley, the Assembly Gala Dinner at Frogmore Creek will be a highlight of the weekend program. Renowned for its cool-climate wines and refined Tasmanian dining experience, Frogmore Creek offers delegates an opportunity to experience one of Tasmania’s leading hospitality destinations.
The evening will feature a multi-course dining experience celebrating seasonal Tasmanian produce, matched with Frogmore Creek wines and local beverages. Entertainment and formal proceedings throughout the night will create a memorable celebration.
Transport to and from the venue will be provided for delegates.

Farewell Brunch

Customs House Hotel
The 114th Skål Australia National Assembly will conclude with a relaxed Farewell Brunch at the historic Customs House Hotel on Hobart’s waterfront. Overlooking the harbour and surrounded by the energy of the city’s maritime precinct, Customs House provides the perfect setting for delegates to enjoy a final gathering before departing Hobart.
Blending heritage charm with contemporary hospitality, the venue offers a warm and distinctly Tasmanian atmosphere, allowing delegates time to reconnect, reflect on the weekend, and continue conversations formed throughout the Assembly.
Delegates are invited to join fellow attendees for a casual waterfront brunch featuring a range of breakfast and brunch options, barista coffee, and local hospitality in one of Hobart’s most iconic waterfront venues.
