South Australia has a Mediterranean climate, with warm, dry summers and mild winters. Generally speaking, it is hotter to the north in the Flinders Ranges, and cooler further south, on Kangaroo Island

Spring is between the months September to November. Spring is awash with colour and the purple jacardana trees are a popular attraction during this time. Trees are a lush green and flowers bloom in the city parks. The average daily temperature in spring is a pleasant 21.7°C. Here are our top seven ways to enjoy spring.

We acknowledge this land that we meet on today is the traditional lands for the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the Adelaide Region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today. We also pay respects to the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting/attending from other areas of the South Australia/Australia.
